CME for Pediatric Physiotherapists

Program Details

The course provides advanced theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of pediatric physiotherapy, including assessment of children’s motor development, characteristics of neurological and musculoskeletal disorders, as well as modern rehabilitation approaches. The program aims to develop participants’ clinical reasoning, practical skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Participants will develop their competencies in ensuring the child’s safety and well-being, taking into account physical, psychological, and developmental characteristics. They will learn to assess motor skills, design individualized rehabilitation programs, and apply evidence-based physiotherapy interventions.

The course also strengthens knowledge related to age-specific developmental characteristics, neurological and musculoskeletal disorders, early intervention, family-centered care, communication, and professional ethics, as well as skills in clinical documentation and the use of standardized assessment tools.

The program is delivered in accordance with international standards and includes theoretical lectures, case discussions, practical sessions, simulation training, workshops, group work, and clinical practice under the supervision of experienced specialists.

Teaching is provided by local and international experts, including invited physiotherapists from Switzerland.

Participants who complete the course will receive CME credits.

Expected Outcomes

After completing the course, participants will be able to:

Course Information

  • Duration: 8 months
  • Total hours: 170 hours
  • Structure: 6 modules, 30 weeks, 71 training days
  • Schedule: 2 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday) — adapted for working professionals
  • Target audience:
    • Physiotherapists with Bachelor’s degree
    • Specialists working in pediatric physiotherapy with at least 1 year of experience
  • Fee: 150,000 AMD
  • CME credits: 62 theoretical / 90 practical
